Consultation responses
The Science Council represents the views of its member organisations on a broad range of areas across science and its applications. Submissions to government consultations and committee inquiries are compiled by Science Council staff, with input from its Members and partner organisations who are encouraged to contribute to the Science Council’s policy submissions.
The Science Council maintains close relationships with government departments, funding agencies responsible for science, education and innovation, and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that it can respond quickly and effectively to consultations, produce reports and address emerging issues.
