The Science Council stands with our Black, Asian and minority ethnic colleagues, and we are committed to full inclusion in science, education and the workplace.
Science thrives because of its diversity. As a leading voice in the STEM community, the Science Council will seek every opportunity to be proactive in promoting and communicating equality, diversity and inclusion to educators, employers, policy makers, opinion formers and other bodies.
By promoting equality, diversity and inclusion the Science Council and its member bodies endeavour to create a greater future for science, and opportunities for any individual to fulfil their scientific potential, irrespective of their background or circumstances.
The Science Council and its member bodies have declared, and continue to stand by our commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion throughout our communities, to challenge prejudice and discrimination.
