The Radioactive Waste Management Directorate of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority was the first employer to become a CPD Approved Employer, as part of the pilot scheme in 2011, now rolled out as part of the Science Council’s employer engagement activity.
Radioactive Waste Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, which is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
They are responsible for delivering a geological disposal facility and provision of radioactive waste management solutions, supporting the government’s programme to implement geological disposal.
