Evidence Framework for Licensing
Evidence Framework (mandatory document 1) outlines the Science Council’s licence requirements and there are eight key areas as part of a licence that Licensed Bodies need to adhere to.
Under the Evidence Framework there are ten other mandatory documents that Licensed Bodies are required to adhere to that stem from the main Evidence Framework – the below diagram illustrates this. Therefore, there are 11 mandatory documents in total. The Science Council has also produced a range of guidance documents to help support Licensed Bodies with their licence.

Promotion of professional registration, with support from the Science Council and their member bodies, is a mandatory requirement of being a Licensed Body.
