Our Affiliate Offer
The Science Council is a community of science professional bodies but we are aware that other professional organisations might want to be part of our community to take advantage of parts of our membership offer.
We currently have two types of affiliation for qualifying organisations:
EDI Affiliates can benefit from our innovative EDI Progression Framework and EDI forum. Join and connect with colleagues from similar organisations and see how your EDI initiatives benchmark with other professional bodies.
Professional Affiliates can benefit from our licences which register professional scientists – a key tool in member retention. These affiliates will work in partnership with one of our members to award professional registration to their members.
How much does affiliation cost?
In 2026, EDI Affiliation is £1936 per annum.
Professional Affiliate is £5998 per annum.
How long does it take to become to an affiliate?
To become an EDI affiliate is a straightforward process.
To become a Professional Affiliate and take full advantage of the licensing options will take longer as it will involve working closely with one or more of our members.
