Roya brings over 10 years’ of experience working in healthcare, science and medical research policy across charities, government and academia. As an Associate Director, she leads work to support clients in developing engaging campaigns that drive policy change for patient benefit, including helping clients to navigate the access environment for medicines, tech and diagnostics with a particular focus on oncology and genomics.
Prior to Incisive, Roya was a team lead at the UK Department of Health and Social Care developing policy for genetic testing, advanced therapies and rare conditions. In charity, she worked in science policy roles at The Institute of Cancer Research and the Microbiology Society. Roya holds an MSc in molecular genetics and diagnostics.
