Another successful Celebration of Science held by the Science Council in London, December 2025. The annual gathering brought together professionals from across the scientific landscape to recognise the individuals and organisations who are driving progress, championing professionalism, and elevating the science workforce.
A packed venue at the Institute of Physics listened to a fascinating keynote speech delivered by Professor Liz Bentley, Chief Executive of the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS), on the evolving landscape of science communication, drawing on the RMetS’ substantial experience in communicating about climate change – watch the keynote speech here.
The evening saw the successful recipients of the Science Council Recognition Awards come together. Winners were individuals and teams who have demonstrated excellence, dedication, and inspiring leadership across the science sector.
